Dimitrina Petrova, Ph.D., heads BOLD (Bulgarian Community for Liberal Democracy). Ms Petrova has been the director of the international human rights organisations Equal Rights Trust (London) and European Roma Rights Centre (Budapest) since 1996. She has managed large-scale projects in Europe and over 40 countries outside Europe, e.g. Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, China, Malaysia, Myanmar, Russia, Sudan, Ukraine as well as in other countries in Central Asia and Latin America. A visiting professor at various universities worldwide. From 1982 to 1995 Petrova was a lecturer at St. Kliment Okhridski Sofia University. Petrova has authored over 150 publications and numerous international awards.
