Future World
Born in 1973 in Sofia, Alexander Valchev graduated sculpture at the National Arts Academy (1998) and photography at NBU (2013). In his work, Valchev uses different media, e.g. sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, etc. His works have been included in contemporary Bulgarian art exhibitions. In 2019, Valchev presented his projects at the gallery of the Institute of Contemporary Art (“Constructive deviations”) and Credo Bonum Gallery (“What to do with the object”, curated by Yara Bubnova). In the autumn of 2020, his exhibition will be shown at Sofia University’s Alma Mater Gallery.
