Stoyan Stavru is a doctor of law and doctor of philosophy at St. Kliment Okhridski Sofia University, Associate Professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Lecturer in medical and bio law at Sofia University and New Bulgarian University. Founder and editor-in-chief of the ChallengingTheLaw! website. Co-organizer and participant in multiple discussions in the field of bioethics and biolaw. A vigorous proponent of public and academic awareness of issues related to biolaw, bioecology and ethical and legal regulations of the human body and biological life.
