Prof. Miglena Nikolchina is tenured at the Theory of Literature Department of St. Kliment Okhridski Sofia University and a member of Academia Europea. Her research focuses on the interaction of literature, philosophy, political science and feminist theory. Her publications in recent years include The Lost Unicorns of the Revolution. Bulgarian Intellectuals in the 1980s and 1990s (2012, in English 2013), Virgins, Knights, Queens. Love in the Literature of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance (2014), as well as a raft of articles in Bulgarian and foreign-language editions.
